Thessaloniki Airport to Electra Palace Private Transfers

Electra Palace has stood on Aristotelous Square since 1972, behind the colonnaded façade that frames the city’s most famous square, facing the sea and the historic Olympion cinema. After a complete renovation it reopened with 138 rooms and suites, the Orizontes Roof Garden restaurant and a rooftop pool overlooking the Thermaic Gulf, an indoor heated pool and spa, and conference halls in the hotel’s former ballroom. It belongs to Electra Hotels & Resorts.

The transfer from the airport crosses the city to the centre – the route summary at the top of this page shows the exact distance and the usual driving time. Allow a little extra on weekday rush hours and during big events in the city.

Aristotelous Square is a pedestrian square, but our cars are allowed onto the paved area in front of the hotel: your driver stops on the square, right in front of the Electra Palace entrance, and helps you with your luggage to the door.

For your return to the airport, your driver waits for you at the same point in front of the entrance at the time you have booked. You receive the driver’s name, phone number and vehicle details before your transfer.

Your driver chooses the faster of two routes depending on the traffic at the time: via the Thessaloniki ring road (Peripheral Road), coming down into the city through the Saranta Ekklisies district, or through the city along Vasilissis Olgas, Tsimiski and Mitropoleos streets, entering the square from the paved area. There are no tolls on either route, and your fixed price stays the same whatever the traffic.

The conference halls of Electra Palace, in the hotel’s former ballroom with tall arched windows, host meetings, presentations and weddings in the very centre of Thessaloniki. We arrange transfers for every size of group:
